August Misc.

Here are a bunch of different pictures- in no particular order- through out our August. We start with just some silliness getting ready for church. Then comes yet another race daddy did- this was his first off-road triathlon he did- in Lincoln, NE. So, we made a fun weekend out of it visiting Uncle Robb. And I finally made some daddy-fan shirts.

Then some more silliness at the park. And we end with Nana & Papa's anniversary dinner.

Not sure what Parker is doing in this picture- usually something very creative that only Parker can come up with! Addison is enjoying the music card. Nana & Papa are ready to head on their cruise the next day. Celebrating 35 years! Thank you for staying committed and in love!

Camping/Tri weekend

This past friday we headed to Kansas- just southwest of KC- for a triathlon (on Sunday) and camping for the weekend. It was an extremely HOT weekend- heat indexes over 100 and 96 degrees. We had a great weekend of camping. However, neither Nate or Dad would say this was their most memorable triathlon. Well, perhaps their most memorable but not their favorite! They both did great- considering the heat. It played a major factor and there were many racers (some we knew and they were awesome triathletes) in the medical tent and not even finishing the race.

The race didn't start till 845am so it was already hot.

The fan club. Over 6 hours of sitting around watching the race. Addison had to go back to the camper for a nap- Jackson lasted the whole time and was PERFECT! It's not easy being a fan!

The kids found this extra swim cap- Jackson wore it for at least an hour.
