New doos

Addison got a new haircut and shape yesterday (a professional one).  She did perfectly!
Tonight, Heather and I decided to give the boys some mohawks.  Heather did the cut- I did the style- they boys did the posing.  Then they acted like they were on speed- running around the house, posing funny and being boys.  In the middle of styling the boys hair Addison got into the hair goop.  She got into trouble and she was pouting- her new thing.

New bike helmets!

The kids needed new bike helmets and Jackson has been begging to get one all week.  The other day at the park Jackson wore Aunties helmet (that actually fits him) and he wanted to keep it- the $80 helmet of aunties... Addison kept saying that she didn't want Thomas the Train- that was Parkers helmet (the one she had to wear at the park).

is it just me or does she NOT look 2?
Addison got a new swimsuit yesterday.  She is very much into Dora.  She kept saying "just dora, no boots, just dora".
We can't wait till summer!!!

The Park- Picnic, Soccer & Bikes

Today is a beautiful day so we packed it all up and went to the Park.  Both Gram & Nana were able to join us for the fun.  We go to some vacant soccer fields and play soccer, have a picnic and ride bikes in the parking lot.
Addison got a new purple soccer ball of going pee on the potty last night.  And today was her first day on a big girl bike.  She required being pushed and had a difficult time peddling but she will get the hang of it before summer is over.
Ashton & Jackson are really getting great on their bikes.  Ashton is ready for the training wheels to come off.  I think jackson has awhile with trainers on.  Parker enjoys having someone walk beside him so he can chat them up.  And enjoys when the other boys pass him so he can smack talk.  Heather said that he reminds her of me :)

FL pic's

More pictures from florida.

Another FL update!

Okay, I promised a day 2 update however we've really been busy... laying by the pool, playing in the pool, fishing, going to key west...
Addison did somehow come down with e. coli.  We took her to the doctor on Monday because we knew she had some sort of bladder infection or something.  She was in intense pain while she pottied. The tests came back yesterday and she is on a new round of antibiotics starting today.  She seems to be feeling great since she started on the medicine.
On Monday we went to the beach, on Tuesday we ventured to Key West for the morning. We got on a little train that toured the city and the boys really loved it.  It was fun to see the city- the houses are all so unique and fun.  The boys also loved the harbor and seeing all the boats.
Yesterday Mom & Dad kept the kids and the four parents went back to key west.  We did a sailboat sunset cruise that was beautiful, shopped a little and then ate a fantastic Cuban restaurant.  We topped the evening off w/ the best key lime pie we have found at a place called Pepe's.

Day 1- Marathon Key Florida

We have so many great pictures from all the fun on our first day that I had to start blogging about our trip.  I will focus on the amazing day we had today- the travel day yesterday was very LONG and took around 12 hours to get here.  whew.  We have arrived and it's pure bliss!
We stayed around the house today- the kids swam ALL DAY long and had such a fun time.  The hot tub was their favorite (it wasn't very hot! and the pool was freezing!).  Headed to the beach tomorrow.  I'm sure their will be a day 2 blog as well!

Addison's 2nd Birthday Bash!

Addison had a hello kitty party.  She did very good- except the part where everyone gathered around her to sing and then she lost it.  She really has trouble with stranger anxiety.  She was terrified of Dave all weekend.  Until he was leaving and we told her he was leaving and she (between tears) said "why?".
Thank you to everyone who came and made the day a special one for Addison!
prepping for party- not sure what I would have done without all my helpers that morning!  it's hard to throw a party at 1030am!
